The Second Legend (a.k.a Cristiano Ronaldo's Rival)

Leonel Messi

Lionel Andres Messi Cuccittini (Also known as Messi) is an Argentine professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Spanish club FC Barcelona and is captain for Argentina's national team. He was born on June 24, 1987 and is 5'7. His salary is 20 million EUR. He has won many, many awards but my favorite one is the Ballon d'Or. It is a gold ball which can only be obtained by getting the most votes for being the best player of the year (He has won 4 ballon d'ors!!!).
In this picture, Messi is taking a picture with his 4 ballon d'Ors.

He started playing soccer when he was 5 and people soon realized  his talents. Though at the age of 11, he was diagnosed with growth hormone deficiency where the body doesn't produce enough growth hormones. It costs $900 a month for medication which his family couldn't afford. Though Barcelona offered to pay for his medication if he moved to Spain to play for the youth academy which he did with his father. Later he played for the Clubs soccer team Barcelona where he soon made history. So in the end you could call him...a legend...

Real Madrid vs. Basel

Real Madrid vs. Basel

On November 26th, 2014, Real Madrid versed Basel. It was a very good match since both of these clubs are very solid. Though Real Madrid came out on top with a game winning score of 0-1 (Basel-0, Real-1). Looking at the attacking momentum of each team, Basel had more shots (17 shots) than Real Madrid (8 shots). The match started coming to life after Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid scored an expected goal in the 35th minute. After the 35th minute, both Basel and Real started getting yellow cards (luckily no red cards), Basel with a total of 3 yellow cards and Real Madrid with a total of 2. Real Madrid also had more possession than Basel and had the man of the match on their team (Gareth Bale) which gave them an advantage. The rest of the statistics are shown below.

New Predators - The Hunting Series!!!

Hunt In The Dark

In this blog, I will be talking about the new Predators - "The Hunting Series". These shoes are white and green, can glow in the dark (pretty sure they can), and all the shoes are shoes that have already been made like the nitro charge (last one) and the predator instinct (2nd one). I like these because it just looks amazing and it is advertised well. Basically I like them because they took already made shoes and copied them to make them look better which is fine since it's their own creation. My favorite one out of the four would probably be the 3rd one (the plain one) a.k.a Adidas F50 Adizero. I like them because it is simple but effective. No design, no exaggeration, just plain white and green but still looks very cool. 2nd would be the predator instinct (2nd one), then the Adidas 11pro (first one), and finally the Adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 (last one).

Top 5 Teams In Champions Leaugue So Far...

Top 5 Teams In Champions League So Far...

As of right now the top 5 teams are Real Madrid FC, Borussia Dortmund, FC Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, and FC Porto. Real Madrid, Borussia, and Bayern all have 12 points which means they have 4 wins and 0 loss. Paris and Porto both have 10 point which means they have 3 wins and 1 draw. Real Madrid were the champions last year and Bayern were the champions the year before, so I expect good things from them since they are to me the two best teams. In Real Madrid, Karim Benzema (Forward) is their top goal scorer with 4 goals and is also the 2nd top scorer in all of the champions league after Luiz Adriano de Souza da Silva from FC Shakhtar Donetsk with 9 goals (3 of the goals from penalty kicks). Borussia Dortmund's top scorer is Gustavo Adrian Ramos Vasquez with 3 goals as well as being the 6th top goal scorer in the champions league along with 9 others, 3 of which being his teammates Ciro Immobile and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. To be continued...

New Real Madrid Member!!!

 New Real Madrid Member

Our newest member is James David Rodriguez Rubio, or James Rodriguez. July 12, 1991. He is a Colombian soccer player who plays for Real Madrid and Colombia's national team as an attacking midfielder. He is 5"11 and has a salary of 6 million EUR. Before he came to Real Madrid, he played in a club named Porto for 3 years where he became well known around the world. His transfer fee from Porto to Real Madrid was 80 million EUR, making him the most expensive Colombian soccer player in history. Though Real Madrid recognized his talents during the 2014 World Cup, winning the golden boot for scoring the most goals (6) in the world cup. To me e is a god in the making. To be 23 and have all those accomplishments and more, wow, i'd want to be him.

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

Today my favorite team (Real Madrid) beat their rival (Barcelona) 3-1 in their in El Clasico. With Neymar Jr. from Barcelona scoring in the 4th minute with an amazing team play, most people thought it was going to be a bad day for Real Madrid. But in the 35th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo (Best player in the world) gets a penalty kick from pique's handball and makes the first goal for the comeback of Real Madrid. Later in the 50th minute, pepe from Madrid makes an outstanding header from the corner kick making it a 2-1 lead in Real Madrid's favor. Then when they thought it was over with the goals, a magnificent team play helps Karim Benzema from Real score to make it a 3-1 lead and the is the final score for the match.

My Favorite Soccer Player

Favorite Soccer Player

My favorite soccer player in the world right now is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He is a Swedish pro soccer player who plays as a striker for Paris Saint-Germain and is the captain of his nation team which is Sweden. He was born on October 3, 1981. He is 6'5 and weighs 209 lbs. His partner is Helena Seger and his salary is 15 million EUR. One thing I like about Zlatan is his cockiness. Most of his cockiness can be seen when he is answering questions at an interview after a match. This is because all the negative questions have only one answer to him which is, "Because I am Zlatan" or "Because there is only one Zlatan". Also, most of the time he only talks in 3rd person point of view. The main reason why he is my favorite soccer player is because of how he plays. Almost all players play the same way or shoot the same way, but Zlatan is different. His style of play is called "Zlatan-style". This is because he uses his karate skills that he developed before playing soccer and uses his acrobatic skills to make scoring look easy, but it isn't. This is why Zlatan Ibrahimovic is my favorite soccer player.

Real Madrid Club de Futbol

Real Madrid Club de Futbol

In this blog, I will be talking about my favorite soccer team so far which is Real Madrid Club de Futbol a.k.a Real Madrid. Right now Real Madrid is in 4th place in their league (Liga BBVA). Thought I know that they can make it to first place soon if they give it their all. Anyways, Real Madrid was found on March 6th, 1902 as Madrid Football Club when soccer was starting to get recognized. Their home stadium (Santiago Bernabeu) holds 81,044 people. Their president is Florentino Perez and their manager is Carlo Ancelotti. It is the worlds richest soccer clubs with an annual turnover of 604 million euros. It is also the worlds most valuable sports team, worth 2.4 billion euros ($3.3 bilion). Its rivals are FC Barcelona and Athletico Madrid. They have also won over 5 champion leagues. These are some of the reasons why I think Real Madrid is the best team right now.

Adidas Predator Absolado Instinct Soccer Cleats

Adidas Predator Absolado Instinct

The Adidas Predator Absolado Instinct, a.k.a "Predators" are the next-gen Adidas soccer cleats. As soon as it was released in July 2014, it began too sell quickly. This specific one in the picture is the one I favor the most. Mainly because I love the red, black, and white coloring as well as the designing of the cleats. In the picture, you can see that the cleats have rubber strips that run from the toe to the top of the laces. It is a never-before seen design that they call "Predator Technology" that looks good and doesn't add any weight to the boots. The rubber part improves the players dribbling, first touch, and shot. Another improvement that the Predator Instinct brings is the redesigned outsole. The new outsole is more comfortable and the stud-pressure is almost invisible. Also right in the center of the forefoot, surrounding the central stud, are little "teeth". These teeth give added grip when moving on turf or natural. These are some reasons why I think the Adidas Predator Absolado Instinct are amazing.

Champions League (Week 9)

Liverpool vs.Ludogorets

On September 16th, 2014 Liverpool versed Ludogorets. Liverpool beat Ludogorets 2 to 1. It took Liverpool 12 attacking momentums to get their first goal in the 81th minute which was scored by Mario Balotelli. Though 9 minutes later Ludogoretes made an outstanding last minute comeback goal scored by Dani Abalo. Since there were delays during the match the ref. added 2 minutes. On the second minute of extra time when everyone thought it was over, Steven gerrard of Liverpool gets a penalty which he makes and Liverpool wins the match. Champions League (Intro)

Trophy For A Champion

For my blog I will be talking about the 2014 Champions League as well as other things that relate to "Soccer". Thought for this post I will just talk about the Champions league which will last all the way through June 6th. Though from December to June the champions league is over but June 6th is the finals. Anyways, jumping right into it, the Champions league is an annual continental club competition organized by the Union of European Football Assocciation (UEFA). 32 teams are put into eight groups of 4 and play each other in a double round-robin system. The eight group winners and eight runner-ups will go to the knockout phase that results with the final match in whichever date it is set to be on. The winner wins a silver trophy and qualifies for the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
