Champions League Semi Finals

   Now that we know the winners of the quarter finals which were Fc Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Juventus, we know enter the semi finals. After the draw was made, the teams going against each other are Real Madrid vs. Juventus and Bayern Munich vs. Barcelona. Judging by this draw, I can make a guess that it will be Real Madrid vs. Barcelona in the finals. I don't think Juventus will make it because Real I'd a very strong team who insists on making a back-to-back championship as well as Juventus hasn't hone to the semi finals in over 5 years. Bayern on the other times has made it to the semi finals every year but when then get there they always mess up and get eliminated. This is why I don't have I hopes for them even though they are my third favorite soccerteam after Barcelona and Real Madrid. Since Bayern is also versing my second favorite team, Barcelona, I haveto go to Barca's side in the end. Other than that, I think Real will make the back-to-back and be known as the best team in the work since again.

Quarter Final Bracket

  As you can tell form the final, the UEFA Champioons League is now down to 8 teams, but only 2 will make it to the finals and 1 will win. From the picture above, FC Barcelona versed PSG with a score of 3-1, Barca's win. Atletico tied with Real Madrid 0-0, FC Porto beat Bayern 3-1, and Juventus beat AS Monaco 1-0. These are all incredibly good teams but too me I think Bayern, Barcelona, Real  Madrid, and Juventus are going to be the victors of the quarter finals. I cant say anything about the semi finals though because no one knows how the drawing is going to end up like. The next round of the quarter finals starts on 4/21/2015 with Barcelona vs. PSG and then Bayern vs. Porto. The day after will be Real Madrid vs. Atletico and then Juventus vs. AS Monaco. Paul Pogba's Transfer Rumors

   Apparently 21 year old superstar Paul Pogba from Italian team Juventus has been offered to play for his childhood team, FC Barcelona. Barcelona has offered Juventus $144 million just for the French player. Although Chelsea, PSG, and Real Madrid want him as well, they are prepared to make a bigger deal than Barca. Pogba hasn't said anything about his decision if he is staying in Juventus or moving to a different team. To me, I think Pogba should move to either Barcelona or PSG because both of those teams are very strong but they lack midfeilders which is what Paul Pogba specializes in. Real Madrid and Manchester already have amazing midfielders so that's just another bench warmer. Paul Pogba has gone a long way for this moment since in his beginning career no one wanted him because people thought he wasn't good, now the best teams in the world are interested in him and want him to go to the next level of soccer. I am a soccer player and I want to be like Paul Pogba when I grow up.

El Clasico: Real Madrid vs. Fc Barcelona

  

    On March 22nd, 2015 was the El Clasico mean "The Classic". The classic was the two most dangerous teams in soccer, Real Madrid and Fc Barcelona. These two teams have the biggest rivalry out of any other sport team in my opinion. The drama, the hatred, the sacrifice is all too much to miss out on. Sadly, Real Madrid couldn't beat Fc Barcelona even though it was an even match, the score being 2-1. Although there were some bad calls like Luis Suarez and Neymar de Silva diving thought the game and getting fouls, or the so called offside against Cristiano Ronaldo, I still thought it was a very great game, one of the greatest I have seen in a while. The scorers of the game were Cristiano Ronaldo, Mathieu, and Luis Suarez. All were amazing goals but Luis Suarez was the best. I hope to see another classic in the future.

F2 freestylers

 In today's blog I will be talking about one of the best groups of soccer freestylers I've ever seen. Their names are Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch. They are youtubers who make videos on match-play tutorials, live performances, football entertainment, pranks and banters. Right now they have 949,059 subscribers and growing. They joined youtube on April 8, 2011 which is not too long ago and it is crazy how they have that many subscribers already. They are both from UK which is really cool because people in UK are amazing to me but I don't know why. My friends and I watch them everyday and we wish to freestyle like them one day but skill like that is almost pure talent.

Luis Suarez

   Luis Alberto Suarez Diaz is a Urugyan pro soccer player who has just been signed to play for Spanish soccer club, FC Barcelona and also plays for the Urugyan soccer team as a starter as well as a striker. He was born on Januaray 24th, 1987 which means that he is 28 years old right now. He is married to Sofia Balbi and makes a salary of 10 million GBP. Even though Barcelona had to pay a fee of 81 million euros, making him the third most expensive player in soccer history, it was worth the cost because Luis Suarez is arguably the best striker in The world. What is different about Suarez is that he has bitten 3 players on purpose in his career which is of course the most in history since he is the only one who has done so. Officials say he might be banned from the next World Cup because of those incidents which to me is fair because it is stupid to be biting players in the first place. Other than that, I can say that he is a fantastic striker and deserves to be in Barcelona.

Messi Takes Worst Penalty Of His Career

   On February 25, 2015, FC Barcelona played Manchester City to advance to the next round after the second round, first leg which they are currently in. As the match goes by until the penalty, the score was 1-1. When the penalty came, Messi was the one shooting it so everyone thought it was an easy goal. Messi choked the shot the first time by letting the goalie block it but the ball came back to him through the air so he tried to use his head but missed again. This was a terrible site to see (Messi missing a penalty) but it was a great site for the Manchester people since it is still tied. Although 20 minutes later Luis Suarez scores against his old team and makes the score now 2-1. Later Barca scores again and ends the match with a 3-1 victory as the head on to the next leg/round.

 

Pes vs. Fifa

 

FIFA 2015 vs. PES 2015

   In this blog, I will be comparing Fifa against Pes. These are the two best soccer game companies ever created. Though some think one is better than the other, I can say as an opinion that FIFA 15 is in fact better than PES 15. Notice how I said 15 and not FIFA in general. This is because during the other years, I though PES was better than FIFA. All I can say is that I support both of them. On the PES side, people liked it because of its animation. The moves, the tricks, the passing was all great as they said. On FIFA's animation, people liked it because it showed the emotions of the players if something goes wrong or right unlike PES. These are just some of the comparisons between the two. I like FIFA more than PES this year because of how you can make your own team and buy or sell players to gain money to buy better players. PES doesn't have this choice. Other than that either game would be great since I played both of them already.

Arsenal

Arsenal FC is my favorite team right now. This is because they have some of my favorite players such as mesut ozil. This team is a very great team because of how they play together. What I mean is that they know what one another is going to do as if their eyes are linked together. They make the most beautiful plays and goals that I have ever seen in all the soccer games I have watched. Though they haven't won many champions leagues, they are still a wonderful team. They have pretty much mastered soccer after mesut ozil who used to be in Real Madrid joined there team. He is a very creative and unpredictable player. I personally think that Real Madrid made an unintelligent decision to get rid of him in replace of the top scorer in the world cup, James Rodriguez. At the same time it really wouldn't matter because they aren't playing any different than they played with him. This could have been why they decided to get eid of him. He seems happy at Arsenal anyways so everyone wins.

   Mario Balotelli is an Italian soccer player who plays as a striker for Liverpool and the Italian international team. His nickname is "Super Mario". He was born on August 12, 1990. He gets paid 6 million EUR and is currently single. His parents are Thomas Barwuah and Rose Barwuah. His siblings are Enoch, Abigail, and Angel Barwuah. In the future, I want to become like him because he is my idol and an amazing player at that. Even though he failed his trial and joined Milan instead, I still think Barcelona is dumb for rejecting him becuase I think he would have been a great contribution to the team with Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, and Xavi. I also call him my idol because he is not afraid to express his emotion, even though he was suspended from seasons because of disciplinary problems, it didn't stop him from playing since everyone know the team wasn't the same without Mari.

Roy Makaay

 

Fastest Goal Scorer

   In the 2006/7 champions league, Roy Makaay scored a goal against Real Madrid CF in just 10.12 seconds!!! This was an amazing moment since people in soccer don't score that fast. Roy Makaay was in FC Bayern Munchen at the time but is now a retired Dutch soccer player. He was born in March 9th, 1975. He was 6'2 and weighed 181 lbs. His number was 7 and he played as a forward. He was one of the people to win the Pichichi trophy which is only given to the goalscorer of the season. Even though I never saw him play I could tell that he was an amazing player in the 2003 season. I don't think anyone could beat his record of scoring a goal in 10.12 seconds which is ridiculously fast. I would totally compare him to the the rising superstars such as Bale, Neymar, Pogba, etc.

Mecurial vs. Magista

   In this blog post, I will be talking about the Nike Mecurial Superfly (red), and the Nike Magista Obra (green). Though they look alike, they are very different indeed. I will talk about the last as well as an interesting feature called "heel counter". With the last, while the Magista offers a fit that is wider in the middle part of the foot and the toe area, the Superfly is a narrower fit and is very similar to its past model, the Mecurial Vapor. The Superfly uses a hidden heel counter that is hidden in the upper by the upper part of the shoe. The heel counter provides lightweight support to the back of the foot, though still keeping that sleek Mecurial shape. Although the Magista doesn't come with that, I like the Magista more than the Superfly.

Cristiano Ronaldo Wins Ballon D'or

   Cristiano Ronaldo has won the Ballon D'or for 2014, making it his 2nd win in a row. Now that he has 3, he is 1 away from having the same amount of trophies as soccer superstar Lionel Messi. He earned this award for scoring 56 goals and 51 appearances for Los Blancos in 2014 as well as having a total of 61 goals and 60 appearances during the year. He also carried his team to get their 10th UEFA champions league title. Another thing he contributed to the history of soccer was having the most La Liga hat-tricks last December. Not only is this why he is one of my favorite players but because he chose his mother over his wife. This decision was made because his wife wouldn't go to his mother's birthday party in Portugal. This proves he loves his mother more than anything in the world.
